Yes, for wallpapers we require a minimum order of 5 yards. If an order below this amount is placed, we will contact you immediately to clarify whether you would like to add to the order, or cancel it.
How do I know how much to order?
Please see our information on how to ORDER
What is the lead time?
Lead time on all orders is 4-6 weeks, plus delivery time. Should you need an order urgently, a fee of $250 can reduce print turnaround to 1 week; please contact us to arrange this.
Are any of your products ready to ship?
No, all of our products are printed to order. However, art prints have a lead time of 1 week as opposed to the 4-6 week lead time on wallpapers and fabrics.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we only ship within the United States by default; we hope to offer our products to international customers soon.
Where are you based?
We at Claire Burbridge are based between southern Oregon and London, UK. So don't be alarmed if you get an email response at 3am! However, your wallpaper will arrive direct from our manufacturers in the north-eastern United States.
Do you offer colourways other than those shown?
No. Because each design is made up of direct reproductions of an original artwork, in repeat, the colours are true to those transferred by Claire from pen or pencil to paper over months of work. However, please contact us should you have something specific in mind as we are always open to discussing special projects. And, in future we may look at offering some simpler designs that can be adapted to multiple colourways.
Do you offer ground materials other than those shown?
Yes, for special commissions we can offer a wider range of ground papers. Please read our information on how to Commission.
Are your wallpapers suitable for commercial premises?
Yes, they are ASTM-E84 fire rated and suitable for low-traffic commercial applications.
Are your wallpapers suitable for use in a bathroom?

Yes, however it is best to get in touch to discuss your needs before placing very large orders.
Do you accept returns?

What is a print?
A print is a reproduction of an original artwork. Claire's prints are digital reproductions of original hand drawings, made in either pen and ink or in pencil on paper. Each original is photographed to ensure the resulting print will be, to the naked eye, identical; this photograph is then printed onto archival paper using archival inks, to ensure longevity. However, all of Claire's prints are slightly smaller than their original counterparts, to avoid confusion.
Why buy a print?
An original drawing takes many months and a great deal of skill to complete, and so is sold for a commensurate amount. With only 11 in each edition, a print is an excellent way to own and enjoy an artwork you love, while retaining a good deal of both exclusivity and extra cash...
Why are prints available here?
Well, for the reason above, and because they are where it all started: Claire's repeat pattern designs are an extension of her self-contained drawn works, and each informs the other, so it made sense to present them together. In addition, the repeat pattern designs are imagined as part of a broader decorating scheme in which the prints are combined to create a profusion of colour and movement, echoing the natural themes that inspire Claire's work.
How long do the original drawings take to complete?
Each drawing represents anywhere from 2-8 months' work — not counting the hours spent collecting and studying the subject matter.
Who owns the originals?
Claire's work can be found in collections worldwide. However, the originals behind some of the prints you see on this site are still available for sale; please contact us should you be interested to know which.
Can I commission a print?
Yes! Claire would be happy to discuss your ideas. Any new commission will involve the creation of a new drawing, which you can then either purchase as an original, or as one of an edition of prints; in the latter case, the rest of the edition and the original would then be available for sale to others.
Where can I see Claire's other artwork?
Claire's entire body of work to date is on her art website, www.claireburbridgeart.com.
